History& Background

Laureate International School is built on the motto that “education is for life” and every young person irrespective of creed, nationality, culture and ability should be given a chance to learn. It is on this basis that we are a multi-cultural international school with strong Tanzanian principles.
The first Laureate School classroom started in 1994 in a humble setting in Mikocheni “B” Dar Es Salaam and gradually grew not only from ne class to another but from one location to another. This growth is attributed to the hard work, commitment and dedication of our teachers, nonteaching staff, management & most importantly the cooperation from our Parents. We are indebted to the founding administrators among them, Mrs. Menesses, Late Mr. Patel, Mr. John Walker, Mrs. Zuhura Salim Ali & Mrs. Hunte among others.

Our Vision

The School’s vision is to provide, in partnership with Parents, an environment of team work, mutual respect and appreciation of different cultural backgrounds. Through our rigorous educational programs, we aim to prepare all students to rich their fullest potential, become productive, ethical and responsible citizens and eventually make a full and useful contribution to society.

Our Mission

Our Mission is to provide students with the best possible quality education in a caring and supportive environment. We wish to enable each student to be independent, self-disciplined, confident and responsible in the ever-changing global.
